I just bought a 21" Dell Trinitron moniter from Dell Financial Services for $408.54 CA (that's after shipping and tax). Josh, a guy here at Grebel bought one off ebay from someone in Mississagua. The guy had 10 and so some other guys (Derrick and Dan) each got one. I did a little search and found them at DFS, so I bought one from there. I'm guessing that's where the Mississagua guy got them. Now what do I do with my 19" Dell Trinitrion? Keep it and get another video card? Sell it? A tough decision.

I also just installed PopUp Killer. No more annoying popups for me. Download it now and enjoy hearing popups die a painful, miserable death.

I signed up for aubible.com the other day. I downloaded The Hobbit and subscribed to The New York Times. So now I get an audio version of several NY Times articles every morning.

I had better get another entry up before Goyer threatens me again. This week is very busy for me. I've got a Soc test and CS midterm tommorrow and then a Stat's midterm and CS assignment on Thursday. Even with all of this, I went to the Music Without Borders concert on Sunday and will probably be playing hockey tonight. I went to my Stats lab today even though I think the labs we do are stupid. Most other people around Grebel are busy as well this week and several are wondering why they are in unviersity. The rain probably doesn't help raise spirits. As for me I should take some time to think about my reasons for university and where I want to go in life. I get into the habit of coasting though things, not worring too much about the future.

6 million dollars!!! I don't remember writting a 6 million dollar check. But I was told that someone tried to deposit a check for that amount written from the Student Council account (Note: I'm treasurer). So who would have signed it? Would someone forge a check from Student Council? Anyway, the result was that the check bounced, our account was frozen, causing several other checks to bounce, and we were left wondering.... that was two days ago, and luckly it has been mostly staightened out. Just a slight bank error causing about 30 dollars to become 6 million.

I've been warned. My lack of blogging might get me removed from Goyer's 'fav blogs' list. The thing is I haven't been doing much surfing lately, so I'm lacking in cool things to link to. I've become bored with a lot of the sites I viewed regularly. My current favorite site is Depth of Field I wish I could take pictures like that. And I don't like talking too much about school stuff. It not usually interesting to write about. Actually today there was something somewhat interesting. In Psych 207 (Cognitive Processes) there was a guy that came in doing a study. He was at our class 3 weeks ago and at that class gave us a questionairon which we were supposed to write the color we assosicated with a letter/number (A-Z, 1-9). Today we got the same questionair. He then explained that the he was studying Color-Digit Synesthesia. Apparently some people see letters/numbers as being a certain color. An example would be seeing the number 2 (written in black ink), and seeing it as being red. He also mentioned a couple stories were people with color-digit synesthesia did not realize until relatively late in life that not everyone had these experiences. They would only realize when they would say something like "I can't remember his name but I know it started with blue." And then people would look at them weird. And whileI'm rambling ... I also found it interesting that the guy doing the study was colorblind. Goodnight.

I finally have my new 40 gig hard drive that I thought I was getting at the beginning of the month. It has been frustrating, having to delete all offline content from IE just to keep my hard drive space above 50 megs. Well now it's time to go crazy. I'm currently ripping all of my cd's.

I better write something quick because I told Goyer that I would blog today, and I might not be back till late tonight. It's been a long time since I have blogged, and a lot has happened. I am back at Grebel after a couple crazy days of moving stuff. Then there was frosh week. I wasn't a frosh leader, but there was still plenty going on. It took a little while to get the sky bunks up. Storing stuff in the trailer didn't go as smoothy as was hoped. Last weekend was the Grebel retreat at Silver Lake. We got to go to the beach (Lake Huron). The waves were very good for a lake. Classes started this week. I've got CS 240 (Data Structures and Management), CS 370 (Numerical Computation), STAT 231 (Introduction to Empirical Problem Solving), PSYCH 207 (Cognitive Processes), and SOC 101 (Introduction to Sociology). We've been playing a lot of ultimate. It's good to see good frosh numbers out to play. That's all for now... I'll try to get back to dayly entries.

There's this black cat with freaky looking eyes that keeps coming into our house. The first time it startled me a bit. I was watching TV (back in the days when we had more than one channel) and it just walked right in. Today it came meowing in my room while I was eating lunch. I "guided" it downstairs where it decided to lay down in the living room. I picked it up and put it outside... It came back in... I put it outside... It came back in (we often leave the doors open for good air circulation). I eventually put it out the back door and closed everything up. Then this evening, I was working at my computer, in my room, the lights were off... and in comes the cat. It left right away... I didn't even get up. I hope it decided to go back outside instead of hide somewhere in the house.
