6 million dollars!!! I don't remember writting a 6 million dollar check. But I was told that someone tried to deposit a check for that amount written from the Student Council account (Note: I'm treasurer). So who would have signed it? Would someone forge a check from Student Council? Anyway, the result was that the check bounced, our account was frozen, causing several other checks to bounce, and we were left wondering.... that was two days ago, and luckly it has been mostly staightened out. Just a slight bank error causing about 30 dollars to become 6 million.
I've been warned. My lack of blogging might get me removed from Goyer's 'fav blogs' list. The thing is I haven't been doing much surfing lately, so I'm lacking in cool things to link to. I've become bored with a lot of the sites I viewed regularly. My current favorite site is Depth of Field I wish I could take pictures like that. And I don't like talking too much about school stuff. It not usually interesting to write about. Actually today there was something somewhat interesting. In Psych 207 (Cognitive Processes) there was a guy that came in doing a study. He was at our class 3 weeks ago and at that class gave us a questionairon which we were supposed to write the color we assosicated with a letter/number (A-Z, 1-9). Today we got the same questionair. He then explained that the he was studying Color-Digit Synesthesia. Apparently some people see letters/numbers as being a certain color. An example would be seeing the number 2 (written in black ink), and seeing it as being red. He also mentioned a couple stories were people with color-digit synesthesia did not realize until relatively late in life that not everyone had these experiences. They would only realize when they would say something like "I can't remember his name but I know it started with blue." And then people would look at them weird. And whileI'm rambling ... I also found it interesting that the guy doing the study was colorblind. Goodnight. |
